Current Research

The staff in the Gait and Movement Laboratory are currently involved with the following research:

• Soft tissue imbalance after Total Knee Replacement

• Assessment of the effect of raised toilet seats on hip flexion/extension

• A pilot study of a Crossover Trial with Randomised Use of Ankle Foot Orthoses for people with Charcot Marie Tooth Disease

• Randomised control trial assessing the benefits of pedobarograph screening of patients with diabetes
